So we did it. We moved all our stuff into the new house. We had a lot of help, our own Furious Five of intra-city dwelling relocation. (I like to think that I was Crane.) Anyway, we emptied out the apartment, filled up the house, ate some hoagies. Then we moved all the stuff from the living room into the basement. And then we tidied up the living room and took these pics. Looks pretty good! Problem was, though, that it was 90 degrees yesterday. And our new house has AC on the first floor, but not on the second. So we slept downstairs, dragging down one of the mattresses we had lugged up there earlier. The AC unit is old and loud. SO LOUD. It was hard to hear the dialog in Kung Fu Panda which we watched last night. It was super.
